We are looking for interesting personalities who have a passion for solving complex problems with analytical yet creative approaches, with a love for working in very diverse teams and settings.

For recent graduates, business or consulting experience is a plus (e.g. in internships). For professionals, work experience in management consulting or supply chain consulting is required.

We strive to be very fast in recruiting and hiring. It can be as little as six to eight weeks from your application to your first day at DHL Consulting.

No, there is no deadline. Please send us your application when it’s convenient for you. Our recruiting process allows for hiring throughout the year, though employees always start on the first of the month. The office in Bonn recruits on a rolling basis, while the offices in Singapore and the USA recruit on a demand basis. Check out our job portal for current vacancies.

The list is long. To name just a few: Python, SQL and several DMBS, R, Ruby/HTML/CSS, Google App Script, Tableau, and Power BI. Methodologies, too, play a role in a data science career at DHL Consulting: data structuring, data cleansing, statistical testing, A/B testing, time series machine learning, deep neural networks, and more.

For all positions, fluency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory. If you are applying for our Singapore office, an additional regional Asian language is a plus, while Spanish or Portuguese language skills are an advantage in our Miami office.

DHL Consulting is proud to field a team of diverse individuals. For instance, approximately 40% of our workforce is female – including our top manager. And all of our offices are culturally diverse, as well, with an average of 45% non-Germans, representing 30 different countries.

Yes. All interns must be enrolled in a university throughout their internship (DHL Group regulations). However, during gap periods/years between your bachelor or master studies, you may also apply for an internship. Please let us know in your application what you are planning to master in.

It can be a challenge finding the perfect match between an academically relevant topic and a customer project. For this reason, we do not support students in writing their theses with us. What’s more, experience has shown that writing a thesis in parallel or as part of our project-based work does not yield the expected results.

At DHL Consulting, we care about balancing work and family life. We offer part-time solutions for parents. Plus, you can choose whether you work from home and when to work, naturally in line with your clients’ needs, too. Because we are part of the DHL Group, you also receive support when combining family and career, such as through company-supported day care centers.

Yes. We have two programs. First, you are assigned a “buddy” to help you get settled, a fellow consultant who organizes a broad range of meetings and training on your first days. They are open to any questions, and can even help you find an apartment or things to do in the city.

Second, a member of the management team is your “personal developer” – guiding you throughout your career at DHL Consulting. You can discuss any questions or concerns and, together, you will plan the best steps for your development.

While on a project, your project manager supports your learning experience, whereas your personal developer helps you develop your overall skillset and advance in your career.

Yes. After you’ve successfully completed your trial period with us, you are eligible to apply for a month-long sabbatical. After being with us for three years, you can even take a longer sabbatical of two to six months.

Please think about the type of role that will suit you and your goals. We encourage you to consider whether your skill set, and experience are a good fit, in addition to reviewing the essential criteria laid out in the job advert.

To ensure that we can give every application the attention it deserves, we kindly ask that you apply for only one vacancy at a time. Our recruiting team carefully reviews all applications, and if your qualifications align with other job opportunities within DHL Consulting, we will reach out to you to discuss further opportunities.
